This pedestrian-only island features a playground for young visitors

This pedestrian-only island on Lac d'Hourtin is a paradise for children. By bike, scooter or on foot, they come here to satisfy their thirst for adventure. Young knights will delight in attacking the large wooden fort, and little climbers will valiantly survey the gigantic rope pyramid. For an arts and crafts workshop, or an introduction to nature discovery, head for the Grange aux Jeux. At lunchtime or at the end of the day, the shaded picnic tables are ideal for a break with family or friends.
