CASTEL DE LA TERRASSE
Petit Futé's opinion on CASTEL DE LA TERRASSE
This very beautiful seaside villa, a stone's throw from the seafront, will plunge you into the Belle Epoque of the first baths. Built in 1840 in brick and flint as it should be, the residence was inhabited by Victor-Antoine Desfossés, banker-collector and press patron who will also be the patron of Gustave Courbet and Van Gogh. A place steeped in history that welcomes you all year round for a weekend or a holiday. The five rooms are tastefully decorated, modern with antique furniture, and for some, a view of the sea. Nice address.
