Gallo-Roman villa in the Buquet district, with a landscaped archaeological garden and a heating system of the period
In the district of Le Buquet, in the locality of Val Caron, are the remains of a Gallo-Roman villa. These were discovered in 1981 during an excavation campaign. According to historians, the site was occupied from the 1st to the 4th century. It has been restored and developed with the creation of an archaeological garden and the reconstruction of the heating system of the time. You can see the objects found during the excavations (bone, glassware, ceramics) at the Fabrique des Savoirs.
