Restaurant offering home-made market cuisine in a rather retro setting with pleasant service.
Perched on stilts on the banks of the Dordogne, Bord d'Eau offers superb panoramic views, including of Libourne's harbor gate. Chef Laurent Lecomte and his team's market-fresh cuisine is no slouch either. Meat, game and wild fish are the house specialities. Everything here is homemade, even the sourdough bread. The cellar showcases Fronsac wines, not forgetting neighboring Bordeaux and other vineyards further afield. The setting is rather retro, but the cuisine is refined and the service pleasant.

Décoration années 70, et surtout ne dites pas que les portions étaient trop légères (quelques petits légumes sur un plat à la carte à 26€),la patronne vous expliquera que si vous alliez au marché vous sauriez le prix des matières premières. Bref, pas un bon moment, à ne pas refaire, il y a bien mieux, plus agréable, pour moins cher pas loin.
