Auffay's superb park and gardens have been awarded the "Arbres remarquables" label, and you'll also discover a château built in the century.

Few castles remain within the same family: since its construction, Bosmelet is one of them. Built in the th century in a Louis XIII style, the building today hosts various events. His various restorations, following the damage caused by the Second World War, restored her antan of yesteryear. The park and gardens can imagine that they were designed by Colinet (the first gardener of Le Nôtre) and admire the 167 willow planted in 1718 on a majestic alley. The Association Remarquables de France has awarded the owners the label of the same name for the beauty of the outside.

Remarkable garden. Closed from November to June. Open from July to early October. Open Friday to Monday, 2pm to 6pm. Open all year round by appointment for groups of 15 or more, 10am to 1pm and 2pm to 6pm. Free for children under 5. Adults: €8 (reduced €6 (under 18s)). Guided tour (park, garden, chapel, war relics, château cellars): €15 (for groups of 10 or more). Exceptional private visit by the owner (château, collections and exhibitions): €20, concessions €10. Credit cards not accepted. Dogs on a leash are allowed in the park.

Très belle découverte. Les jardins sont magnifiques. Je conseille pour balade calme, dépaysant et reposante.
Fin de saison donc pas de visite du château mais nous reviendrons ????

Superbe parc mettant en valeur ce magnifique château.
Site historique de la seconde guerre mondiale ou une base de lancement de V1 était construite.
A savoir que des concerts sont organisés occasionnellement dans la chapelle.

Nous vous conseillons la visite avec le propriétaire. Certe à 20 euros mais elle vaut vraiment le coup. Les intérieurs sont atypiques et raconte son parcours de metteur en scène. A voir et à écouter.
