Perched at the top of the Donon Pass, the hotel holds the rank of 3 Logis de France fireplaces. The rooms are located in the complex or, for the "Donons", a little further away in the greenery. With its three restaurants and two terraces, in addition to a fine choice of game and fish, it offers a beautiful traditional Alsatian cuisine: baeckeofe, sauerkraut and homemade foie gras. A short walk in its heated swimming pool is a must in any season when you return from your walk!

Nous avons réservé 15 jours avant notre arrivée. Nous arrivons...aucune personne à la réception , nous faisons sonner la cloche, 10 mn après toujours personne. Une odeur pas très agréable, des caisses de bouteilles qui traînent au fond du couloir. Nous décidons d'appeler par téléphone la réception qui nous dit qu'il n'y a pas de réservation à notre nom ...looool alors qu'on nous a recu un mail de confirmation de réservation ! On nous annonce que quelqu'un va venir nous réceptionner....attente ...personne....nous partons voir ailleurs !! Quelle horreur !!! C'est bien beau de faire vivre le velleda à côté mais il ne faut pas abandonner l'hôtel du donon... on ne vous remercie pas...et on ne vous recommande surtout pas !!! Pourtant nous ne sommes pas des personnes exigeantes mais là......Une honte !!!!
