Set at the foot of a healing spring, this women's abbey seems to have been forgotten over time. Founded in 1190, this masterpiece of13th-century Anglo-Norman Gothic style, in all its Cistercian purity, offers visitors a troglodytic cellar, the ruins of the abbey church, a three-aisled chapter house, a workroom, the nuns' dormitory and monastic gardens dotted with sculptures evoking the women who lived there.

Veldig fint og avslappende sted i flotte omgivelser. Interessant med historien til Cistercienserne grunnlagt i 1098 og oppkalt etter byen Cîteaux
