FOIRE SAINT-MICHEL

The Saint-Michel Fair is the largest carnival in the department, a huge vide and commercial braderie, hundreds of exhibitors and 80 000 visitors wandering through the streets of Louviers for three days. It was mainly a festive city and the opportunity for everyone to have fun and to do good business, according to a tradition dating back to the Middle Ages, the Saint-Michel (September 29 th) marked the end of large agricultural works.
