A must-see! Young and old alike will marvel at the remains on display here. This archaeological site presents the history and remains of a vast Gallo-Roman sanctuary city, named Gisacum. Today, the remains of the ancient public baths are showcased in a landscaped garden. A permanent exhibition presents the sanctuary city and Gallo-Roman civilization through models and objects found on the site.

Closed from November 15th to March 1st. March, October and November: 1:30 pm - 5 pm. April, May, June, September: 1:30 pm - 6 pm. July - August: 10:30 am - 12:30 pm and 1:30 pm - 6:30 pm. Free admission. Animation: €45 per group. Children welcome. Guided tours (themed). Gift store. Entertainment. Shows, events. See website for more information. Dogs must be kept on a leash.
Owner's Message
Nearly 2000 years ago, Gisacum was a Gallo-Roman agglomeration, organized around its great sanctuary dedicated to Apollo and Jupiter. For 200 years, archaeologists have been plunging into the past to discover all its secrets.
The interpretation centre
This old barn houses the permanent exhibition dedicated to Gisacum. Models, videos, plans and objects discovered during the excavation evoke the great ancient monuments (baths, temple, theatre), the daily life of the Gallo-Romans and the work of archaeologists.
The archaeological garden
This island of nature provides a green setting for the remains of the Gisacum baths. This original and educational presentation is accessible to the whole family (games booklet available at the reception).

La visite est gratuite, que ce soit le musée ou la balade sur le site des thermes, il y a un parking à proximité et le personnel est très accueillant... habitant pas très loin nous repasseront avec plaisir pour profiter des animations qui y sont régulièrement proposées.
