Restaurant with a nice terrace open all year round in the heart of a garden.
Perhaps one of the most pleasant restaurants in this village thanks to its setting and its history. It was in this hostel dating back to 1890 that the American painters were saved from the work of the Impressionist master Claude Monet. The establishment, a tea salon and restaurant, is located in the heart of a garden with an ancient rose garden, where you can stroll in an artist’s shop with its old charm, a few steps from the Claude Monet Foundation and the Impressionnismes Museum. You are served in the room, in a very successful 1900 decor, or shaded terrace opposite the entrance. Omelet Baudy in duck conflict, lamb of, onion soup or roasted garlic sauce and garlic butter sauce… the choice is wide. A nice stage, open all year round, which is rare in Giverny, not to miss!
La terasse est sympa.
Prix légèrement élevé
Cuisine classique, peu inventive.
Desserts pas maison comme le gâteau au chocolat, frites surgelées.
Je dirais très cher pour la qualité
