Gisors has a long tradition of merchants and their stalls, dating back to the Middle Ages! Today, the town has two markets a week: Fridays and Sundays, from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., plus a special all-day market on Bank Holiday Mondays (Easter and Whitsun). Here, you'll be able to choose from around fifty stalls selling vegetables, fruit, charcuterie, cheese, clothes, gourmet foods and hardware. Markets are a particularly pleasant time to stroll around and sip a coffee on a terrace.
