Imposing castle, provided with dungeon and vaulted rooms of ogives and dungeon, the spectacle Gisors the Legendary every year in May
The imposing Château de Gisors was a strategic site, since the Epte, the river that runs through the town, was the border of Normandy from the 10th to the early 13th century. Here, you'll discover magnificent rib-vaulted rooms and a dungeon with walls decorated with graffiti left by former inmates. Then climb a hundred or so steps to the top of the keep and admire the magnificent panorama. The Gisors la Légendaire show is presented every year in May, each time inspired by a different legend.
