Garden in a meadow in Broglie, a peaceful and pleasant place with a playground for children and picnic tables.
This recently-created garden (1993) was laid out in a meadow on the banks of the Charentonne, which was often flooded by the river's irregular course. By taking advantage of the site's characteristics and channelling the water to circulate within and around the beds, it was possible to create this pleasant plant ensemble, where over 12,000 plants of various origins grow. The garden (willow and Louisiana cypress) sits alongside the exotic circular peninsula with its bamboo, beds of flowering herbaceous perennials (decorative rhubarb, Chilean gunnera, lobelia, astilbe), willows and poplars. A peaceful, pleasant place to stroll and enjoy the river's banks and the view of the houses along its banks. Children's play area and picnic tables.
