This former forge was once animated by several generations of the Petitjean family. Today, the Museum Forge is open to the public and presents the forge workshop as it was in 1950 and the apartments, the barn and the refurbished set as faithfully as possible to the original model. The visit begins with a film showing life and daily work in a forge workshop. In the barn are presented the numerous agricultural tools of the peasant blacksmith, master of the fire and nurse of the animals.
