In the old town, at the height of the art gallery of the old Belfort, there is a restaurant that is particularly well placed under the famous arcades of the Oven Square and which, by far, gives the impression of being «at the foot of the lion». This traditional restaurant offers, among other things, local cuisine and wood fire grills which are the stars of the card. Meat and fish round seasonal dishes in a wide choice of menus for all the stock exchanges!

Opening time and information on AU PIED DU LION

Open Monday to Saturday from 11.30am to 2pm and from 6.30pm to 10pm. Open on Sunday midday, the first weekend of the month, because of the flea market. Menu from €18 to €33. Card: Around €37. Children's menu: €10. Wine by the glass. At lunchtime, daily menu at €12. Chèque Restaurant. Groups welcome. Terrace.

Located in the heart of the old town at the foot of the citadel and the Lion of Belfort. Traditional cuisine and neat where you can enjoy good grilled meats and fish the fireplace. Pleasant setting and dynamic team. Menu from the 14th to €37.

Wanting to offer a restaurant my expensive and tender, I turned to this. We found ourselves next to two tables composed patrons. Its people (around 8) howled all meals, I did not manage to chat with my fiancée. When the waitress approached at the end, it asked to us whether all had avenue. It has explained the problem, it did not meet. We had the impression TO DISTURB. I do not recommend this restaurant, the food is composed of meat carbonized for a very high prices.

A pleasant restaurant with the warmly decorated in the old town of Belfort (unfortunately you do not see the lion from this place, as opposed to what the name is clear...)

Wide selection of dishes that has not miss: the tiramisu with the griottines.
A little expensive however!
