Frédéric Puffeney started to "feel" the vine in 1995, but it was in 2006 that he was able to take the plunge. He was carrying on a long family tradition, as his uncle, who worked in the vineyard opposite Montigny-lès-Arsures, retired. Frédéric even inherited one of the most prestigious clos, that of Les Bérangers, whose trousseau is a marvel above the Pasteur vineyard. Having left with 25 ares and a renovated old winegrower's house, the winegrower now farms on several sites, including Arbois. And all the colours that go with it.
