In Thoiria, the cheese dairy has been reconstructed as it was in 1900! Sylvain Robez-Masson, the cheese maker, works and explains all the phases of his job at the same time. The discovery of the equipment, gestures and techniques is done in the summer from 9 am. In July and August, it is in the morning that you will be able to attend the making of the Comté cheese, in the old way and on a wood fire. In the afternoon, you can follow the making of butter. The cheeses of this cottage can be tasted, bought on the spot or by correspondence, as well as other regional products.
