This plateau cooperative lives up to its name, built right on the banks of the fishy Suran river. Resolutely modern, it groups together 20 farms that bring in 7 million litres of milk each year. If you come at 11am on Fridays in July and August, the cheesemaker organises free tours (and tastings) of his working "den". The shop, which is just as new and appetizing, is also well stocked. But for your aperitifs, choose the "Val'Herbes" range of cheeses designed to introduce your meals.

J'ai acheté du comté chez eux (dont du très vieux qui est assez cher)). J'ai demandé qu'ils le mettent sous vide. Après le trajet pour rentrer chez moi, j'ai eu la désagréable surprise de retrouver les morceaux de comté suintant de gras, traversant même l'emballage sous vide ! A l'intérieur, le comté était luisant et la croute avait commencé à pourrir. Peut être est-ce du à l'emballage qui a été laissé dans la mise sous vide. Quoi qu'il en soit, la fromagerie ne veut pas rembourser (elle me demande de lui apporter les fromage !). Je n'ai jamais eu de problème avec la fromagerie d'Arinthod d'à coté. Je n'y retournerai plus !

Nice local cheese shop with lots of local products such as wine, beer, honey, jam et cetera. Prices are as expected.

I personally recommend the Trousseau and Poulsard red wines and Comté cheese

Ce n’était pas la première fois que nous y allions. Nous achetons régulièrement du fromage ici. Cette fromagerie propose un tres large choix de fromages et le comté est très bon.
On y trouve également des petits cadeaux, du vin, miel etc. Très belle boutique.
