" Le Moulin "is in the first place a concert hall. It is a very special place, lost in nature in the vicinity of Poligny, which nevertheless welcomed the greatest musicians. From national and international groups to small local groups, music lovers continue to love each other. " Le Moulin "is a very special mood for a truly unique atmosphere. The place has a soul and a history (at the beginning of the century the mill used to pour black wheat). Far from the huge multi-dimensional rooms and the sanitised boxes, the "Moulin" is a place that lives permanently. A second room serves as a snack bar where temporary exhibitions take place regularly. A rehearsal studio is made available to local groups which allows them to repeat each week. The reception conditions are excellent, both personal and material, and many artists come in residence. With an eclectic choice of current music, a frequency of at least one concert per week, some technicians and a reception capacity of 700 places (the public has access to two balconies plus the pit), this room has become a reference in the event. There are all kinds of tastes and ages! The program is available almost everywhere in the region, but more specifically in tourist offices, bars or music stores.

Situated in the central square, this is a very appropriate place to have a drink at Poligny and above all to get to know the beers. The boss Benoit Choquet offers 14 of them on pressure and about a hundred in bottles. Drinks also rhyme here with cocktails, shots, ciders and whiskies... without forgetting the Jura wines. Students from the Hotel School and the National School of Dairy Industry will undoubtedly go there to perfect their knowledge. And this particular workshop is certainly not unrelated to the fact that several microbreweries were born in the region. The interior decoration is Irish copy and paste, worthy of Dublin pubs: woodwork, stained glass, bar stools, counter... It's believable. Even more so on musical evenings when bands playing spoons on their knees come to perform. On sunny days, the terrace is very popular, and even if the skies are ungrateful, St. Patrick's Day is celebrated there. Like the city itself.

Isabelle Bouvret has in her genes the defense of regional products. She is the daughter of the late Henri Bouvret, an ambassador for fine wines. "Barzing" is a convivial interlude. Local beers are available on draught. The wines are organic. Even the lemonades and colas are regional. You can choose from dishes with an exotic touch or regional specialties. There's regular entertainment, including concerts. And the terrace unfolds as soon as the first rays of sunshine appear.
