L'UNIVERSITÉ DE BORDEAUX
Bordeaux University was born from the merger between the universities of Bordeaux I, II and III in January 2014. It is therefore the third largest university in France with over 575 years of history and values. More than 50,000 students form each year in universities, IUT, institutes, ESPE (former IUFM), doctoral schools and other research departments. Only Bordeaux III (social and social sciences) retains its original structure. The University of Bordeaux offers multidisciplinary and international training. The campus of Talence-Pessac-Gradignan brings together science and technology, law, political science, economics and management. The Carreire campus, adjacent to the Bordeaux CHU, welcomes most of the students in the health and biology sector, but also many research laboratories. The Victoire campus, which also includes the Legal and Judicial Pole of Pey Berland, is the place of study and research of human sciences. The University Pole of Science and Management (PUSG) is located on the site of La Bastide while Villenave d 'Ornon is the place of study for ennology students within the Institute of Vine and Wine Sciences (ISVV).
