The Conservatory of Bordeaux Jacques Thibaud provides courses divided into several categories: instrumental practice (wood, strings, copper, piano, old or polyphonic instruments), writing, analysis and composition, and performing arts (dance, theater, singing…). In this school, nearly 2,000 young people and adults study one of these artistic disciplines, supervised by over 150 teachers. The courses are mainly delivered outside school time or within the framework of timetables with certain educational establishments in Bordeaux. Here, training is complete and open at age 6.
