Es ist ein wunderschönes Schloss, nicht überlaufen und an toller Lage. Neuerdings gibt es auch sehr gepflegte Ferienwohnungen und die Schlossherrin ist eine freundliche Gastgeberin. Ich gehe regelmässig hin, auch mit Freunden. In der Gegend gibt es unzählige lohnende Ausflugsziele!

La forteresse est attestée en 1109 et sa fière allure d'aujourd'hui très attirante.
Son imposant donjon et ses Tours sont érigés au XIV ième siècle, le château sera remanié et agrandi dans les temps suivants. Très beau site chargé d'histoire superbement entretenu qui mérite le détour...

Merci aux propriétaires de laisser l'extérieur en visite libre. (L'intérieur est privé et ne se visite pas.).vu magnifique depuis la terrasse. L'église en contre basavec son allée de tilleuls , le cimetière avec la sépulture se Bernard Clavel valent aussi le détour.

Visite uniquement de l extérieur de ce magnifique château qui domine la plaine de Bresse. Belle cour interieure. En contrebas se trouve l église nichée dans un cadre de verdure et cimetière attenant où se trouve la tombe de l écrivain Bernard Clavel.

I never visited the castle and the small cave (Doors?) is nice.
The cemetery and its shaded pathway (old access to the castle?) are superb.
The tomb of the writer Bernard Clavel is on the right on entering the cemetery.

We visited this square at the time of our summer holidays. The place is very pretty and maintained indeed but for visited, it is zero. The visit is short: you are told the history of this castle in the garden which faces, speak about its architecture. Then you enter the lobby: a few words, then this is a lounge that we discover: a few words on the genealogy of the owners of the place. Then let us chain we with a function room and the description of the room (wood panelling, furniture) and finish with the music room on which tells us nothing but we have the opportunity to live concert rehearsal classical music. We chose this visit the reading a brochure offered by the Tourist Office and in which was written that the visit ended in a drink and a snack offered by the owner and taken on the terrace of the castle. Entry price: €8 Per adult. We were 25 adults and children. Duration of the visit: less than one hour from explanation and 2/3 rooms. Refreshments and snack: 2 litres of San Pe + 2 litres of fruit juices and a tiny piece of chocolate cake (" if there is something for everyone " it; , heard) for more than 30 visitors. I think that there are other places to discover. Le Jura has many interesting sites but I prefer to forget this.
