Located in the center of Bègles, this original place, open and democratic to say the least, gathers creators of the art brut. By "open", one must understand liberated and autonomous. The museum owns an important permanent collection of 5,200 works, tormented or naive, but always unusual and inventive. The museum includes the Imago gallery, which presents a series of five exhibitions each year. Outside, large coloured totems set the mood.
