Visit a church to admire its nave and side aisles, typical of Burgundian Romanesque art, and its imposing Marin Carouge organ.

The Saint-Just church is easy to spot thanks to its high, domed steeple clad in ochre-coloured tiles. This 17th-century giant stretches to 60 m and dominates the town. Once at the center of a fortified Benedictine priory, the church served as an impregnable vantage point. Admire the nave and side aisles, typical of 11th- and 12th-century Burgundian Romanesque architecture. The carved wooden pulpit dates back to the 13th century. s'impose dans le paysage
cette église de style roman, remaniée au fil des siècles, possède un magnifique clocher repérable dans le paysage d'Arbois au point qu'elle suffit à l'identifier. Mais elle possède aussi un superbe mobilier très ouvragé(chaire), des orgues du 18ème siècle juste restaurées, des vitraux dont l'un contemporain relatif à la célèbre manifestation du Biou (représentation symbolique de la grappe de Canaan)
les concerts d'orgues en été y sont mémorables

Belle église au clocher bombé typique de la région. Ne pas rater sa façade, de beaux vitraux, de beaux confessionaux également et une réinterprétation vinicole amusante de la bible. Pas de doute, nous sommes au pays du vin. Belles vignes devant la façade.

Nous sommes à Arbois, à l'office du tourisme, on nous donne un plan avec différents circuits pour visiter la ville. Nous nous dirigeons vers l'église Saint-Just (très belle, surprend par sa couleur ocre, c'est une belle église romane, on est au frais, on admire.)On se balade un peu dans les rues et rencontrons de belles fontaines. Nous terminons notre périple par la place de la liberté. Ici tout un hymne au célèbre vin d'Arbois. Il a aussi la maison de Pasteur transformée en musée (ou il a fait toutes ses expériences).Nous irons un autre jour. le temps passe trop vite, tout est beau ici
