FOIRE DE LA SAINTE CATHERINE

The first edition of this fair dates back to… 1295! It takes place every year, on Sainte-Catherine Day. At the time, we were celebrating the end of the work in the fields, and we came to buy the pig. That's why, even today, cochons sweets are put! Traders benefit from the massive influx of visitors to do business. It is also an opportunity to see the "catherinettes", these single or brides who have just celebrated their 25 years. They wear a crank hat, which is the subject of a competition.
