There are 4 coastal trails in the Arcachon basin, of which Audenge is the longest (14 km). This trail goes around the Certes estate via a dike that was used to create the salt marshes in the 18th century. You'll discover the secrets of the architecture of a marsh created first for salt and then for fish farming. Watch for birds such as cormorants, gulls and black kites. The paths are wide and the walk is easy. Allow 3 hours for the walk, and take along something to quench your thirst, as shade is in short supply.

Très bien aménagé et facile d'accès. Nous avons découvert ce sentier le 14 juillet en cherchant le meilleur endroit pour admirer les feux d'artifice dans la baie d'arcachon en soirée, nous n'avons pas été déçu du spectacle! C'est idéal pour se balader au calme, en famille.
