ORICOURT CASTLE

In the 1960s, the medieval enclosure was in ruins. Today, thanks to the considerable efforts that have been undertaken, the castle is a must-see during your stay in the department. Built around the middle of the 12th century, the castle is composed of a double fortified enclosure intended to ensure its defense. Visits to the 15th-century seigneurial dwelling and the dovecote are a must. Medieval festivals are organised on the first weekend in July. An event not to be missed for this small village!
