Rooms with a small private terrace area in a charming hotel 2 km from the city centre.

500 meters from the beach, welcome to L'Ile Aux Oiseaux. And there no doubt you are on the Basin! The rooms of this charming little hotel bear the sweet names of the small villages of Cap Ferret. Some of them have a small private terrace/patio area and one double room has been entirely designed for people with reduced mobility. The careful decoration is almost 100% wood in the manner "basin". 2 km from the town centre and at the gateway to the Arcachon basin, L'Ile Aux Oiseaux is the ideal place for family or romantic holidays.

Open all year round. Reception 24 hours a day (reception is open from 7.30am to 8pm). 14 rooms. Double room from €55; triple room from €75; suite from €85. Breakfast: €8.50 (€4.50 for children from 6 to 12 years old). Extra bed: 10 €. Parking included (bike garage and surf storage free of charge). One child under 2 years is charged € 5.00 per night in a baby cot. One child under 6 years is charged € 5.00 per night and children under 12 years are charged € 10.00 per night in a cot. Evening stopover in superior room + breakfast from 85 €. A double room with handicap standards. Animals accepted (on request with a supplement of 8 € per day). Seminars. Receptions and weddings. Free Wifi. Satellite TV. Outdoor terrace only for hotel guests.

Les chambres ont besoin d'un bon rafraîchissement ( problème de mitigeur dans la douche pour moi , rideau de douche pas très hygiénique , cuvette des toilette à revoir aussi) , pour une nuit ça passe mais pas pour un séjour plus long.
Très déçue du petit déjeuner car pas de choix ( du pain , 1 vieinoisserie par personne , 1 seul choix de fruit (banane), confiture dans des pots ( pas très hygiénique surtout en periode covid )il serait préférable en portion individuelle .La partie petit déjeuner demande à être revue.
Et en partant , on nous demande même pas si tout c'est bien passé donc bon pas très agréable.

L'hôtel est vraiment charmant, bien situé et l'accueil est très sympathique. Les chambres ont été refaites, le petit-déjeuner est copieux. Les propriétaires, des jeunes, sont accueillants et prévenants. J'espère qu'ils le resteront. En résumé, je conseille vivement.
