A trail to discover the way of life of the Cro-Magnon man, accompanied by an educational video and playful workshops.

If you are interested in the life of our ancestors, but don't really like going underground, this site is a good solution. The prehistoric trail around the cave reveals the lifestyle and habitat of cavemen. A video will tell you more, and you can even practice hunting or cave painting. In 2023, a new activity: treasure hunting! Children will be able to sift sand in the river, and keep the minerals they find.

Opening time and information on PREHISTORIC PATH OF THE CAVE OF VILLARS

Open every day from April 1st to the end of the All Saints' vacations. Low season : open every day from 10am to 12pm (last visit at 11:30am) and from 2pm to 6pm (last visit at 5:30pm). High season : every day from 10am to 7pm (last visit at 6:30pm). October-November : 2pm-6pm. Adult : 11 €. Children (from 5 to 11 years old) : 7,50 €. Group (20 persons) : 8,80 €. Teenager from 12 to 17 years old + student (-25 years old with student card) : 9€. Guided tour. Animations.

C'est un sentiers ludique pour toute la famille, moi je dirai plus pour les enfants , on découvre la vie de nos ancêtres , comptez une bonne heure car il y a des jeux sur tout le parcours. Une vidéo vous raconte sur l'histoire de la grotte.
