A trail to discover the way of life of Cro-Magnon man, accompanied by an educational video and fun workshops.

The trail around the cave immerses visitors in the way of life of cavemen, through reconstructed habitats and interactive demonstrations. An explanatory video, hunting and rock painting workshops give visitors a chance to experience their daily lives. A workshop for children where they can take home minerals. Très belle grotte. Guide excellent, très pédagogue. Volume de la grotte modeste mais très bien mis en valeur tant par les éclairages que par une session vidéo. Le parc annexe est top autant pour les adultes que les enfants. Très instructif si on prend le temps de lire les infos très pertinentes et scientifiquement précises.

Expérience très sympa, la grotte est très jolie. L'histoire qu'il y a derrière est super intéressante. Je vous recommande de la visiter fortement si vous passez dans le Perigord.

Wonderful underground cave system with fantastic rock formations. The many different types of stalactites and stalagmites are well lit and the guide provided good information in both French and English. Some great prehistoric wall paintings too. Only disappointment is that there is no guide and photo book as one can't take photos inside.
