Between the two arms of the Salon, Dampierre does not lack charm. Near the tourist office, the Saint-Pierre Fourier tower dates back to the th century. A little further, going back to Martin square, the Maguet Tower of the same time, whose construction is attributed to the Knights of Saint John, is found. The tower has one of the five solar dials still visible in the commune. The second is located on rue Sainte-Catherine, at one of the corners of the school, and the third on the Contet Tower, also the th century, rue Louis-Dornier. On the banks of the Salon, along the river from one arm to the other (access from the Alfred-Dornier street), the walk is very pleasant. On the other side, see the remains of the medieval ramparts. The church, typically regional, was built on the eve of the Revolution. We look inside for some paintings and a contemporary tapestry of the Virgin. St. Catherine Chapel, or rather what remains in a private garden, is the ruins of the oldest village building. Many animations throughout the year.
