A meeting of past trades… The Château de Champlitte hosts the Haute Saone Departmental Museum dedicated to Rural France by the End of the th and early th centuries. In the early 1950 s, with the help of his wife Albert Demard, a castle concierge, gathered an impressive collection in the attic of the building: furniture, everyday objects, clothes… Today the collections are spread not only in the attic but also on the first floor. Bourgeois, peasant and religious universe… From one world to another, you'll take care of the old classroom, the café and the carnival. A not miss. For small and large. Albert Demard's first idea was to save a world that was turning off and making it discover the younger generations. Bet successful. Note: The ground floor of the castle hosts temporary exhibitions.

Très beau musée situé à l' intérieur du château de Champlitte. Il évoque la vie paysanne et le travail des artisans a l' époque du XIX eme siècle.
