Les Jardins de Sardy is the ideal place to recharge your batteries as a romantic getaway, and to enjoy a natural setting with family or friends. The walk takes you from the 18th-century buildings to the perspective of the pond, from the dry garden and its dovecote to the olive grove, watered by a canal lined with Indian lilacs in intense summer bloom. Let yourself be surprised by the many fragrant plants and scented rambler roses.
Enjoy the terrace tea room and Sardy wine. For music lovers, concerts are organized in summer.

Remarkable garden. Closed from October 6 to April 30. Exceptionally closed on May 8th. Open daily and on public holidays from 10 am to 6 pm. Free for children under 9 (reduced rate for students (under 26): €7). Adults: €9. Groups (20 people): €7 (booking essential). Visits in October by telephone reservation. Catering (tea room with terrace. Chai). Store. Free parking. Dogs on leash accepted. Concerts in June-July-August. Winner of the Prix Patrimonial Aquitaine 2024.

Classified as a "Jardin Remarquable" since 2004, Les Jardins de Sardy are a haven of peace and beauty in Vélines. Overlooking the Dordogne valley, these gardens offer a picturesque stroll through landscapes inspired by both England and Italy. You'll marvel at the cypress treetops, curves of perennials, flower beds and shrubs. The gardens, which stretch around an ancient medieval fortification, also feature a long central pond. To learn more about the history and wonders of this jewel, it's best to opt for a guided tour. Here, you'll also be invited to explore a sensory trail, for a unique experience in harmony with nature. Before or after the walk, you can treat yourself to a gourmet break in the tearoom. Its shaded terrace is also the perfect place to enjoy homemade cakes or a cool drink, while taking in the beautiful view over the gardens. You can also sample the estate's wines, including Jardins de Sardy and Château Sardy. An address well worth a visit!

La petite maison ( ménage non fait, des toiles d'araignée partout, effectivement c'est d'époque ???? )
Vraiment dommage IL FAUT DEMANDER POUR ACTIVÉ LES FONTAINES et bien entendu nous l'avons appris qu'à la fin de la visite...

Petit bémol, le café est très cher
Petit bémol sur le prix nous avons eu une réduction grâce à une visite de la veille , mais je trouve l'accès un peut chère pour 30 minutes en y allant tranquille de visite . Peut être pour le tarif offrir un verre à la fin du parcours.
Cela reste un lieu à découvrir avec une histoire fantastiques
