This elegant pleasure castle, planted on a rock, replaced the old medieval fortress
Planted on a rocky outcrop, this elegant château de plaisance, listed as a Monument Historique in 1928, replaced the former medieval fortress. Comprising a main building with a round tower and sculpted façade, it is enclosed by walls and bordered by a deep moat. It houses furniture, tapestries from the 16th and 17th centuries and paintings. In July and August, Thursdays: starry evening (candlelit castle, torchlit gardens, classical concert, tasting of local produce).

Das Schloss ist ganz nett, der Park auch. In der Gegend gibt es aber eine ganze Reihe schönere. Und dann das Essen im Parkrestaurant.... grausam!
Ein Omelett mit Steinpilzen kam als dicker viereckiger Block, in Konsistenz, Farbe und Geschmack nassem Pappkarton ähnlich. Das Ganze auf fetttriefenden, weichen Pommes Frites.
