Castle offering a guest room and two gites in Saussignac.

Caroline - a certified winemaker and wine trainer - and Sean Feely moved from Ireland to settle on 10 hectares at Château Haut-Garrigue in an organic vineyard overlooking the Dordogne valley. They decided to open up their estate to visitors, creating a guest room and two fully-equipped gîtes, luxuriously furnished and ecologically built from wood, with breathtaking views over the valley. They organize half-day and full-day wine tastings, discovery meals and even the possibility of creating our own blends.

I have purchased the stay in Chateau Feely for my boyfriend Xmas present as he has same surname and he really wanted to visit it.
We have had absolutely fantastic stay with amazing views on the vineyards.
We have done a great tour around with Caro ❤️
Visited very cozy restaurant in the area and really enjoyed our stay ❤️

My husband and I stayed a week in the Wine Lodge at Chateau Feely and had a wonderful stay. The setting is perfect. Views from the bedroom and living room are of vineyards and classic French countryside. Sunrise is spectacular and when the mists roll in, it becomes magical. The lodge itself is very comfortable. The kitchen has everything you need. We cooked in several times. The location is great for exploring the Dordogne and Bordeaux. And best of all are Caro and Sean, the hosts. They are fabulous…so willing to share their knowledge and love of wine, food and the planet. We look forward to another visit!

We've stayed at the Wine Lodge every summer for the past 9 years with our two children. We love the views, the pool, the wine evenings in Saussignac, doing treasure hunts in the vineyard, chatting to Caro and Sean and chilling out! We highly recommend canoeing on the Dordogne whilst visiting too. The Wine Lodge is well equipped and all on one floor so perfect for little children. It is an excellent holiday location.

This is such an idyllic place to stay. From the organic/biodynamic vineyard and wine tasting experience to the vast experience that Caro imparts to each of her guests. We can’t fault this place for rest and recreation.
