EYRIGNAC ET SES JARDINS
Home to the Chinese Pagoda, the Manoir d'Artaban and intimate country settings
The manor of Eyrignac was built by Antoine de Costes de la Calprenède in the 17th century while the first gardens were designed in the 18th century by his great grandson. Inspired by the Italian gardens very much in vogue at the time, the French gardens of Eyrignac were redesigned and transformed in the 19th century to follow the fashion of English gardens. Patrick Sermadiras, together with his wife Capucine, continues the work of his father, Gilles, who wished to bring back to life this family estate as it should have been in the 18th century. He relied on his own inspiration and designed the garden himself, which covers 10 hectares and is mixed with Italian influences. More than 300 forms of sculptures cut in topiary and 50 000 plans of yew, boxwood and hornbeam make the grace of Eyrignac. We discover the Chinese Pagoda, the Artaban Manor dating from the 17th century and the intimate and rural universes: the Kitchen Garden and the Flower Garden, the Garden of the Springs and the Flowery Meadows. The visit ends with the White Rose Garden, with its spectacular garlands of flowers and flowerbeds, offering a unique view of the surroundings. The route is punctuated by places of relaxation: bird aviary, lovers' room, green labyrinth. It's a 2.5 km to 4.5 km walk on botanical paths accessible to all and shaded. Booklets-games, Happy Picnic, quizzes adventures, everything is planned to discover the place in family! In the summer, picnic in white every Monday evening.

Nous n avons pas testés le restaurant
Nombreuses parties fermées au public.
Tarif nettement excessif (12.90€). Pour 3€ de moins, nous avons préféré de loin le site de Marqueyssac.
Trop cher pour ces jardins
Piste d atterrissage à côté des jardins …
Mais sympa : balade botanique
