Family hotel in Calacuccia, ideal as a stopover for hikers with its terrace, comfortable rooms and lively bar.
A family-run hotel in central Corsica, run by Mathieu and Stella, with comfortable, clean rooms, each with a small balcony opening onto the Monte Cinto or Arinella massif. There's a large, shady terrace, a bar run by the locals and an extra warm welcome from Stella, who will be delighted to tell you all about the many hiking trails in the Niolu. An interesting stopover for GR20 hikers, with numerous access points to the GR20 ramps and a Mare a Mare passage on the north side. A welcome hotel in this somewhat deserted micro-region.

Très bon accueil de Stella, bel hôtel très propre et bien situé. Les petits déjeuners sont copieux. Bons conseils pour visiter les alentours et les restaurants. Je recommande vivement. Nous repasserons sûrement lors d un prochain séjour en Corse

L'accueil de la propriétaire Stella a été très apprécié après une très longue randonnée sur le GR20. Elle est venue nous chercher alors qu'il était tard dans la soirée et a organisé le dîner dans l'excellente brasserie locale. La chambre était vraiment confortable, le petit déjeuner avec de la confiture locale et des croissants était parfait. L'hôtel étant situé sur le GT20, c'est un arrêt idéal pour le vélo, même s'il est loin de l'itinéraire de randonnée du GR20. Pour rejoindre le GR20 le lendemain, J-Marie, chauffeur de taxi local, nous a emmenés au début de l'ascension du jour suivant dans une spectaculaire promenade en 4x4 dans la montagne. Nous ne saurions trop recommander cet endroit.
