Leaving the citadel, you reach the Old Port via the Romieu Garden, a haven of greenery that harmoniously overlooks the picturesque marina and, at night, with its lights, creates a beautiful backdrop for the Governors' Palace. In the garden, the Romieu staircase is clearly visible from the Old Port. With its pedestal vases, statues and long wrought-iron railings, this is a bucolic, romantic setting. Take a break under the trees to admire the panoramic view of the two ports and, in summer, the ceaseless ballet of ships.

Un petit écrin de verdure suspendu. On y accède par de nombreux escaliers en pierre qui s'entrecroisent. La vue sur Bastia y est très belle ! Je conseil vivement !

Un lieu de quiétude sous les frondaisons des arbres plus que centenaires , un chemin vous mène du quai dans le vieux port à la citadelle aavec une splendide vue à différente à chaque changement de pente , petits escaliers pas trop raide, mais prenez le temps d'admirer le vieux ports et les ferries

Beautiful garden, which links the Bastia Citadel to the Old Port! After a good hiking in the city, it is really served to cross this garden, and go to eat on one of the restaurants of the Old Port.
The view from this garden is exceptional! Visit!
