With its 258 menhirs, it is the most important Mediterranean alignment called by the ancient Campu di i Turchi, the Turkish cemetery. Seven groups of menhirs constitute all the alignments. Their axes are oriented north-south, one has a single east direction. This general orientation is characteristic of all the alignments of menhirs and remaniés statues. All the menhirs were sculpted. Most of them are only summarily framed and although they cannot be seen as statues, as none of them present a dégagement of the head, all have a human silhouette. The terrain is not maintained and therefore menhirs are difficult to discern, as buried or concealed by vegetation, unfortunately! Access is now forbidden to the public by the owner!

Originality
This site is exceptional by its historical importance. You should go to see it whether you pass in the region. Respect places: do not touch with the menhirs. It is a shame that these menhirs, located on private grounds and historical monuments are not maintained since 1972, better! We alerted the headquarters of the Cultural Affairs Corsica referring to the Corsican Territorial Collectivity. Let us hope for how that will get very soon!
