Dolmen implanted on the plateau of Cauria, representing one of the most beautiful megalithic moments of the island in Sartene.

Located on the plateau of Cauria, this dolmen is currently one of the most beautiful megalithic monuments of the island. It is particularly well preserved, in spite of the cracking of its orthostats and its covering slab. The granite slabs, regularized and polished, delimit a chamber of about 4^m2. This was probably sealed by a slab, of which only a fragment remains today.

Dolmen Fontanaccia was bought by the Corsican Territorial Collectivity.

It will be catering (table or dale cover is cracked over its long)

It is forbidden to climb up and pass below. A security zone has being erected, some visitors went on the monument despite prohibition (logo on sign and a little good citizenship please)

PS: not to venture into the scrubland in summer, the paths that leave the Cauria are all without exit and dangerous in case of fire, they are private properties.
