As with many hikes in Corsica, your walk begins in the magnificent maquis. Departing from Ste Lucie de Tallano, you cross the Rizzanese forest in timeless landscapes, stop off at the ^12th-century chapel, and wind your way along this 56-kilometer waterway. The Rizzanese, a magnificent river, rises from Monte Incudine at 2,100 m and surges through the massif, slowly descending towards the Gulf of Valinco, ending its course at Propriano.
