The Coscione plateau is a biodiversity reserve with lush flora and fauna located in Quenza.
During the arid summer season and in snowy winter weather, this plateau perched at an altitude of 1,500 meters is transformed into a biodiversity reserve to be explored on foot, following the marked trails. The area is a haven for species such as lammergeiers, eagles, wild pigs, mouflons and Corsican cows and horses. On reaching Cavallara, the pozzines, characteristic of this unique biotope, come into view.

Nous sommes montés jusqu'au plateau en voiture (site ski de fond) et nous nous sommes ensuite promenés sur le plateau. Tout simplement magnifique! Et notre fils de 3 ans a adoré découvrir les animaux sauvages (vaches, chevaux et cochons) . Les sentiers sont très bien indiqués, pas de dénivelé donc idéal en famille. À ne pas manquer!
