The Coscione plateau is a biodiversity reserve with lush flora and fauna located in Quenza.

This plateau, perched at an altitude of 1,500 metres, is transformed into a biodiversity reserve to be explored on foot along the marked trails during the arid summer and snow-covered winter seasons. It's a haven for species such as lammergeiers, eagles, wild pigs, mouflons and Corsican cows and horses. On reaching Cavallara, the pozzines come into view, characterizing this unique biotope of this natural region.

Nous sommes montés jusqu'au plateau en voiture (site ski de fond) et nous nous sommes ensuite promenés sur le plateau. Tout simplement magnifique! Et notre fils de 3 ans a adoré découvrir les animaux sauvages (vaches, chevaux et cochons) . Les sentiers sont très bien indiqués, pas de dénivelé donc idéal en famille. À ne pas manquer!
