It is Jean-Marc Lubrano-Bartoli's den, a must on the mythical GR20, where you will find the atmosphere of the lost places at the end of the world. You can even take advantage of three family cottages for more intimacy. As far as the cuisine is concerned, you will find local charcuterie, wood-fired grills and sheep's cheese. Nice atmosphere every evening around the fireplace or on the terrace. The little extra: a natural camping area under the beech, pine and fir trees of this beautiful forest.

Côté installations, seulement deux toilettes pour tout le refuge, pas de lumière dans les douches (très négatif quand on sait qu’on peut arriver très tard au refuge), eau chaude très aléatoire et pression faible rendent l’hygiène difficile après une journée sur les sentiers.
Autre point à noter : la cuisine commune se trouve dans le même bâtiment qu’un dortoir, ce qui perturbe le sommeil des randonneurs à cause du bruit et de l’agitation.
Dommage, car le lieu étant desservi par la route, pourrait vraiment offrir mieux avec quelques ajustements.
Saucissons proposés à tomber.
Les douches gagneraient un peu de confort (fermer le auvent un peu au vent, plus d'espace)
