A signposted trail to discover the history of Bonifacio's fortifications, a botanical area, an exhibition...

The renovated Bastion de l'Étendard offers several attractions: a route marked out by numerous explanatory panels that tell the story of Bonifacio's fortifications, a botanical area with endemic Bonifacian plants, a "landscape garden" with several orientation tables, plus a new interior exhibition that recounts the history of the site. The underground rooms, partly dug into the rock, are impressive, as are the panoramic views along the way.

Très beau bastion, il y a de magnifiques photos à faire à partir des fortifications mais j’ai été un petit peu déçu par l’intérieur. Ça reste à voir au moins une fois! En prenant le pass Bastion + Escalier du Roy d’Aragon à l’office de tourisme, vous économisez quelques euros.
