Typical bistro serving generous Corsican cuisine at excellent value in Bonifacio
It's an address for regulars and happy tourists who gather here on wooden benches and tables amidst antiques unearthed by José, the place's creator. Thomas, his son, has taken over the Cantina Doria and continues the tradition of generous Corsican cuisine: Corsican soup, Bonifacian eggplant, Corsican tripe, Pietra pork and citron custard. The kindness of Gaëtan and the boss, the dynamic service of the whole team, combined with reasonable prices, explain the success of this canteen, where it's best to make a reservation.

Closed from November to March. Open daily and on public holidays for lunch and dinner. Reservations recommended. Menu: approx. €29. Children's menu: €10. Dish of the day: €20 (to €25). Owner's Message
In the Doria street, the most famous of the high city of Bonifacio, this restaurant is specialized in a simple and qualitative traditional Corsican cooking.
José and his team welcome you in a pleasant setting, two small rooms with the appearance of a small Corsican village.
The rooms are richly decorated to expose on the walls and the ceiling objects of the Bonifacian life.
In season, a pretty terrace allows you to eat on the picturesque Doria street.

L'accueil du serveur adorable, qui connait ses plats , et explique avec passion la composition des plats, qui sont délicieux et généreux; j'ai mangé une soupe Corse succulente, des aubergines à la bonifacienne excellentes , mon mari s'est régalé d'une salade de poulpes , et de porc à la pietra .
Super restaurant !!!
Parlons maintenant nourriture... les aubergines à la bonifacienne sont succulentes, j'y suis allé uniquement pour ça et, j'ai pas été déçu du voyage, ce fut un "orgasme" gustatif (sans exagérer).
Le service est rapide et aimable et là aussi je mets 10!
Donc si vous êtes à Bonifacio aucunes hésitations allez-y ! ????
