A site with diverticula, a central chamber and a staircase, with prehistoric huts dotting the monument.
The Castello d'Alo-Bisujè sits atop a 361-meter-high spur that overlooks the road to Sartène via the Bocca di Biscelli. It has yielded menhir fragments, millstones and pottery dating from the 2nd millennium B.C. It is an imposing circular monument with an entrance, diverticula, a central chamber and a staircase leading to the platform on the second level. Prehistoric huts dot the surrounding area. Don't forget your walking shoes. The tour lasts just over half an hour. Not to be missed!
