The starting point for this hike is the Scalella pass, at an altitude of 1,193 metres. From the pass, head east for about 1 hour 30 minutes, then take the path up to the pozzine (peat bogs). Allow around 2 hours 30 minutes to reach this area. For the more adventurous, it's possible to extend the hike to Lac de Bracca, the source of the U Prunelli river, culminating at 1,777 meters above sea level. However, this variant is more difficult and requires good orientation.

Dominique Lucchini, equestrian tourism guide, has set up on the Ese plateau with her horses and ponies. On the program: an hour's ride around Foce d'Astra for all levels, a 2-hour variation on the shepherds' path, and a full-day outing to discover the mythical Pozzi. A day's outing where you can take your time, discovering flowers and landscapes with time to yourself, a real way to recharge your batteries. The small snack bar is a welcome place to enjoy a bite to eat at any time on the way back from your walks, in a friendly atmosphere and in the fresh air.

Mountain bike rental at the Chalet to allow you to reach the forest trails to Lake Tolla where you will be picked up in the evening and driven back to your car among other possibilities of roads and paths. Helmets provided and bicycles in male, female and child size. The pleasure of the descent without the worry of pedalling for the ascent!
