THE CASTLE OF LA PUNTA
This château, nestled at an altitude of 600 metres, has been listed as a Historic Monument since 1977.
The stones used to build it at the end of the 19th century came from the Tuileries castle. Nestled at an altitude of 600 metres, it was listed as a historic monument in 1977, but was damaged by a scrubland fire a year later. It has been closed to the public for 40 years for safety reasons. In the meantime, you can leave your car at the small parking lot and walk up the 7-kilometre-long, winding, eucalyptus-lined road, which has finally been renovated. Along the way, you'll see the tomb of the Pozzo di Borgo family.
