Built in 1878 on the butte Sainte-Nicaise, this English neo-Gothic château is a landmark of the Rémois landscape. The tour begins with a 116-step staircase leading down to the cellars 30 meters below ground. The House has also developed a new concept that invites you to visit the cellars on your own and discover the Pommery museum, before the traditional tasting of one of the House's cuvées to reveal all the delicacy and beautiful complexity of its champagnes.

Well organized tour and Champagne tasting experience. The decor is spectacular and loaded with history.

Excellente expérience de la visite des caves Pommery. On a choisi la moins chères des offres de visite de caves de Champagne sur Reims (34 € avec la coupe de "brut royal", la variété de base de la maison, déjà très agréable pour les non spécialistes des bulles que nous sommes), mais c'était très intéressant. Outre les caves elle-mêmes, avec des explications probablement classiques, on bénéficie aussi de l'exposition d'oeuvres d'art contemporain (qui changent tous les ans), insérées dans les galeries.

Mooie gegidste tour door de kelders van het domein. Goede uitleg in het Engels. De proeverij mocht wat gezelliger ingericht worden. Ik miste wat beeldmateriaal van het productieproces. Dat is wel iets wat ik verwacht bij zo een tour.
