Founded in 1931, Stade de Reims became one of the biggest French clubs in the 1950s thanks to its prestigious list of achievements. In 1956, the Remois club won the first final in the history of the Champions League against Real Madrid. With emblematic footballers such as Raymond Kopa and Just Fontaine at his helm, he won the hearts of the French and remained at the top until 1979. Then it was the decline and fall in 1991.
