Every spring, the Remois pay tribute to Joan of Arc who succeeded in leading Charles VII to Reims so that he could be sacred in the cathedral. Over the course of a weekend, the Cité des Sacres returns to its former costumes and customs and offers you an exceptional programme: pyrotechnic shows, sounds and lights, concerts, falconry, fire-eaters, jugglers... not to mention the medieval village, with its camps and market and the torchlight parade of Jeanne in armour.

An unmissable meeting place for Champardennais who love the green attitude, this show is a real oxygen bubble for nature lovers. Conferences, organic market, gardening workshops, organic home cosmetics manufacturing, eco-tourism, outdoor activities, nearly 250 exhibitors are present to share their knowledge and help you adopt an eco-responsible and more environmentally friendly lifestyle. As for leisure activities, the accrobranche course and its zip line will transform young and old into adventurers: monkey bridges, vines, suspended trunks, all these are challenges to be overcome with skill and complete safety with the animators of the Arboxgène park.

On the occasion of the 1 500 th anniversary of the birth of the franc kingdom (512-2012), the Saint-Rémi Museum offers a journey to the th century. De of daily life in the Champagne-Ardenne region, this exhibition is structured around three tombs and their treasures, discovered in 2002 in Saint-Dizier. On 27 November 511, Clovis, king of the Franks baptized in Reims, died. His eldest son, Thierry (Theodoric), inherited most of his kingdom. At the beginning of 512, he chose Reims as the capital. The City of Reims chose this anniversary date to highlight the rich collection of the Musée Saint-Rémi: more than 400 jewels and objects of the daily life of our ancestors, which these people gain in their grave. Beside the fund of the Musée Saint-Rémi, the exhibits of this exhibition: three tombs of the Carolingian Upper Aristocracy in the Kingdom of Reims. There was a young woman and two high-level chiefs, as evidenced by the wealth of their funeral furniture.

Each year, the lesbian, gay, bi and trans festival of Reims is organized by the association Ex Aequo - between October and November. You leave your competitive spirit in the changing rooms and enjoy the pleasure of running at night with friends in an ultra friendly atmosphere under the encouragement of a host of supporters. This night march organized by the city's fire brigade takes you to discover Reims by Night! On the program, an 8 km course consisting of two 4 km loops in the heart of the Cité des Sacres in the footsteps of the kings of France. The departure is from Notre-Dame Cathedral, the site of the coronation of the French rulers, to the Basilica of Saint-Rémi, where Clovis was baptized, and back along the banks of the Marne Canal. The price is 12 € for pre-registration, 17 € on site.

This festival, which aims to promote the making of short films in the region, will open up new horizons for you! It is here that we find the future talents of film creation. Participants have 24 hours to make a short film of less than 5 minutes, a real challenge! You will then be able to see the selected films that will be screened in cinemas. At the end of the festival, the jury will award the prizes for best film, best actor, best plot, respect for constraint and student perspective to the 10 winners at the closing ceremony. The spectators will also have their say with a specially dedicated prize: the public prize.

During its two weeks in October, you will certainly come across famous authors such as Dominique Manotti, Caryl Férrey, Bernard Boudeau... in the City of Rites. Interpol'Art is not only dedicated to literature, the festival is open to all artistic disciplines, whether it be cinema or comics. Although Interpol'Art took a sabbatical year in 2019, it returns this year with an ever rich and varied programme of meetings with authors, signing sessions, round tables, conferences, exhibitions...
